Before Akshay Kumar’s Toilet Ek Prem Katha released, Bollywood was awash with toilet jokes. They used them in short promos for the film and shared them on Instagram. And now that the film has earned over Rs 50 crore in three days, ending a long drought for Bollywood at the box office, it is time to celebrate. And where? Well, in a toilet, obviously!

Co-starring in this celebration video along with Akshay is everyone’s favourite, Ranveer Singh. And here’s the gist of what ensues in the video: Ranveer Singh has to really, really go but there is someone in the toilet. Out comes Akshay and he announces how “Toilet ki opening lag gayi” and they dance a really goofy dance.

Akshay also shared the video and wrote, “Toilet ko opening lag gayi, thanks to u all & we can’t control our happiness Big thank u @RanveerOfficial for being the rockstar that u are.”

Now, we love you guys but when it comes to celebrating Toilet’s success, nobody had a better joke than Akshay’s wife, author and producer Twinkle Khanna. Taking to Twitter, Mrs Funnybones wrote, So even the box office needed this Toilet eventually to break free from its constipation-#ToiletEkPremKath Hit Hit Hooray!”

Akshay Kumar’s Toilet: Ek Prem Katha has ended a low phase at the box office and earned Rs 51.45 crore in three days. The film is expected to increase its earnings during the Janmashtami and Independence Day holidays. Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, the film is inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Clean India Campaign.
