Amitabh Bachchan, who will be seen raising funds for the victims of the Kashmir floods, is eagerly waiting for the region to bounce back to its original grandeur. The veteran actor hopes to shoot many more films in the valley, once it is completely free from the clutches of internal terror.
"We do miss Kashmir a lot. Earlier, we were there every single year. It really is unfortunate that we can’t go there now. But we hope with time, the situation will improve and we would have an opportunity to shoot several films there," says the 72-year-old, who is an integral part of the Hum Hain … Umeed-e-Kashmir concert, a fundraiser that is being organised in association with Hindustan Times, on Saturday, October 18.
The Capital will be hosting the main event at the Indira Gandhi Indoor stadium, while other fundraisers will also be held in six other cities — Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore. Chennai, Jaipur and Kolkata, with a host of Bollywood celebrities.

Talking about his involvement with the cause, he says, “If you see a part of our system bleeding, it is natural to want to help. Every time, there is a cause that requires participation, I would like to be there. Not to just to publicise it, but also to lend support. As an individual, I would like to do whatever I can.”
The tickets for the event will be available at the venue or on Bookmyshow.com.
