Bollywood bats for Sachin on Twitter

As Sachin Tendulkar played his last Test match on Friday, stars ranging from Abhishek Bachchan to Javed Akhtar took to Twitter to share their sentiments.

As Sachin walked in to bat on Day 2 of Test match with West Indies, Wankhede stadium erupted in a roar. The echo of that undulating chanting was felt all the way on Twitter which was inundated with tweets and hashtags on Sachin Tendulkar.



Bollywood’s die-hard Tendulkar fans were also there to bid the God of cricket goodbye. While stars like Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and Hrithik Roshan were present on the stands to cheer the cricketer, Abhishek Bachchan, Shreya Ghoshal and Javed Akhtar were some of the people who took to the social media to wish him.



Sachin’s 38-run knock on Thursday had raised everyone’s expectations and the half century on Friday sent the fans in a tizzy.

This will probably be his last innings if India bat West Indies in the first dig.
