Last week it was reported that Prakash Jha's upcoming film Chakravuyh had hit a road block as one of the tracks in the film called 'Mehangai', was said to portray Indian industrialists Tata, Birla and Ambanis in a bad light. However, Jha on the other hand stated that contrary to what the song seemed, he had nothing personal against the business families and stated that their names were used more symbolically than anything else.

In light of the explanation given by Jha, the Censor Board has since given a green signal to the song, on the condition that the track features a disclaimer stating, 'The references in the song are purely for illustrative purpose. We do not mean to disrespect or harm any individual or brand.'

When translated in English, the lyrics of 'Mehangai' go as 'Be it Birla or Tata, Ambani or Bata... In pursuit of their profit, they've carved up the country. It is our blood... Yes, it is our blood that drives their engines, fast and furious. The common man's pocket is cleaned out bare. No more of this pomp and pelf. It is our turn now!'

Chakravyuh

which stars Arjun Rampal, Abhay Deol, Esha Gupta and Manoj Bajpayee is scheduled for release on October 24, 2012.
