Dad asks me to steal his quotes: Alia Bhatt
Actor Alia Bhatt says that when she is asked for her opinion on topical issues, her father Mahesh Bhatt tells her to take his quotes and not credit them to him!
Star kids often feel the pressure of meeting the expectations of the audiences vis-a-vis their parents’ success, but the only tension that actor Alia Bhatt has is giving smart quotes on various issues like her father Mahesh Bhatt .

“People constantly expect quotes from me because my father gives such good quotes. Sometimes my dad tells me, ‘You should behave like a thief. Take my quotes and don’t say they are mine’. I keep telling him that nobody is going to believe that they are my quotes,” laughs Bhatt, who was recently seen in Shakun Batra’s directorial Kapoor & Sons.

The actor, who turned 23 on March 23 a few days back, takes a lot of pride in telling everyone that she has turned a year older. “People tell me that I am so wise and sensible and it doesn’t seem like I am new in the industry. But they get surprised when they get to know that I am just 23,” says Bhatt, who made her Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s Student of The Year (2012).

“On my birthday this year, somebody said that I am turning 22 and I immediately corrected him and said, ‘No! I am turning 23’. I say it with a lot of pride when I turn a year older,” adds the actor, who has acted in films such as Highway(2015) and Shaandar (2015).
