A source told Mumbai Mirror, "The celebration will either be held at Maratha Mandir or at a five-star hotel."

Incidentally, DDLJ opened to packed houses and rave reviews on October 20, 1995 and since then has been running in Maratha Mandir. It is the longest running film in the history of Indian cinema.

The invitations for the festivities will soon be sent out to the cast and crew of DDLJ. The source told the tabloid, “DDLJ keeps getting better; it is like old wine. The magic of this evergreen romance keeps pulling audiences to Maratha Mandir.”

However, while Manoj Desai has confirmed the news, a spokesperson of Yash Raj Films has denied any such plans.

Any which way, its a huge feat and kudos to DDLJ!
