Deepika Padukone has answered 73 questions in a special video for Vogue US. She talked about her favourite Hindi movie, the Hollywood director she wants to work with, talking openly about depression and more.Updated: Mar 21, 2019 10:33 IST

After actor Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone has become the second Indian celebrity to answer Vogue’s 73 questions in their hit video series. She was asked questions at The Greenwich Hotel in New York, US when she shot for her first ever Vogue US magazine cover recently.
The interviewer began the video by asking her about New York, the first place she visits when she is in town and the recommendations she would have for him should he ever travel to Mumbai. Deepika then talked about her work and said that Padmaavat was the most challenging movie she has been a part of, Cocktail was the turning point of her career, and she chose drama over comedy.
When asked what she looks forward to in 2019, she mentioned her upcoming film with Meghna Gulzaar, Chhapaak. Deepika said that Anil Kapoor’s Mr India is her favourite film of all time, would like to work with director Damien Chazelle and that there is no difference between Hollywood and Bollywood. She even revealed that she can speak six languages and was born in Denmark.
Deepika then talked about her definition of feminism and why she chose to speak about depression on a public platform. She said she found it to be liberating.
The actor then showed the camera some cool dance moves as she mixed flossing with Bollywood dance steps. She called the style ‘Blossing’.
Deepika shot for Vogue magazine with 13 other female actors from around the world including Scarlett Johansson, Lea Seydoux, Eiza Gonzalez and others. The magazine’s cover featured her with Scarlett and South Korean actor Bae Doona.
Deepika is currently in Delhi for Chhapaak. The team will begin shooting for the film from Monday.
