Deepika Padukone rushed an injured girl to the hospital

When a member from her publicity team met with an accident last week, Deepika Padukone rushed her to the hospital and took care of all the expenses.

Last week, Deepika Padukone had a meeting with her publicity team. The team was on their way to a hotel in Juhu when one of the female members (name withheld on request) met with an accident.

Deepika Padukone called several doctors and specialists personally for opinion on the treatment of the injured girl.

“When Deepika heard about it, she rushed to check on her. The woman was badly injured, and was bleeding profusely. Since the injury was on her face, she was in a state of shock, but Deepika calmed her down,” says a source close to the actor.

Even when the girl was discharged from the hospital, Deepika stayed constantly in touch to know about her condition. (Hindustan Times)

Apparently, Deepika rushed her to the nearest hospital for first aid. “Deepika sent her staff along with the girl. She took care of the expenses at the hospital. She also called several doctors and specialists personally for opinion on her treatment,” says the source.

Even when the girl was discharged from the hospital, Deepika stayed constantly in touch to know about her condition. “Deepika was concerned since the girl stayed in the city alone,” says the source.

Though the actor couldn’t be reached for a comment, a source close to the girl said that Deepika “went out of her way to make sure that she was fine”.
