Deepika Padukone upset with Aanand L Rai because he chose Katrina?

Actor Deepika Padukone is miffed with Aanand L Rai for not casting her in his next.

According to reports, actor Deepika Padukone is unhappy with filmmaker Aanand L Rai for casting actor Katrina Kaif in his next project. Although Rai has not officially announced Kaif as the female lead alongside Shah Rukh Khan in his film, buzz that she has bagged the role is strong.

Filmmaker Aanand L Rai is said to have cast Katrina for a role that he had earlier offered to Deepika.

It is said that earlier Padukone was Rai’s first choice for the role but due to her hectic Hollywood schedule she didn’t have dates. According to Mumbai Mirror, Padukone is now free from Hollywood commitments and is not happy that the filmmaker cast someone else without asking her.
