Emraan Hashmi to host a TV show to talk about son’s cancer?

The Azhar actor has been approached to host a few episodes of an informative show on cancer.

In 2014, Emraan Hashmi’s six-year-old son Ayaan Hashmi was detected with stage one cancer. The boy battled the disease and leads a healthy life now.

To spread awareness about the illness, Emraan took to writing. He penned a book on cancer in April. The actor has now been approached to host a few episodes of a TV show that talks about cancer.

“The show aims to provide information about cancer. Emraan will speak briefly about the topic. The team believes that the actor has the knowledge and the sensitivity to talk about the subject, given his personal experience,” says a source close to the actor.

Emraan is ready to come on board, confirms the source. The shooting for the episode will begin in March, 2017. We tried contacting Emraan, but he remained unavailable for a comment.
