Virat Kohli on Thursday shared a new picture of himself with wife Anushka Sharma, on his Instagram account. The cricketer and his actor wife are currently in England, where the Indian team is on tour for three months.
During their time in England, several pictures of the couple - both officially posted by them and taken by paparazzi - have been shared online. Just the other day, the two were spotted shopping at a Leeds supermarket. On Thursday, the couple was seen with Shikhar Dhawan as they took a leisurely walk.
This new picture shows Anushka leaning on her husband’s shoulders at the back seat of a car. She’s wearing a summery yellow dress while Virat is wearing a grey jacket and white tee, coupled with his trademark dark glasses.
After India’s victory in the T20 International series against England, Anushka joined M S Dhoni’s wife Sakshi, Ashish Nehra’s wife Rushma, Shikhar Dhawan’s daughters Aliyah and Rhea and Krunal Pandya’s wife Pankhuri Sharma for a photo that was shared widely.
Anushka recently concluded filming of Sharat Kataria’s Sui Dhaaga, in which she will appear opposite Varun Dhawan. The actor most recently appeared in the Sanjay Dutt biopic, Sanju, in which she played a journalist. Anushka often travels with the team and is seen cheering her husband from the stands. She was even present at the recent birthday celebrations of former skipper MS Dhoni.
The couple was married in a surprise Tuscan wedding in December last year. Recently, they were involved in their first major controversy as a married couple, when a man accused them of publicly shaming him online for littering in Mumbai. Anushka had scolded the man as his car pulled up beside theirs, while Virat shot a video of her which he later uploaded on Twitter and Instagram.
