In fact, the movie became famous for the kissing scene between Madhuri and Vinod. However, in an interview to a magazine in 1993, she admitted that she regretted doing the kissing scene in the film. “I regret doing the kissing scene in Dayavan. But when you are new, you don’t know if you can tell the director you don’t want to do it. But after that I put my foot down. I realised that you can say no,” she was quoted as saying.

He made me blush whenever I tried. Even when we were shooting ‘Ram Lakhan’, and I would sing ‘Oh Ram ji’, I would blush,” she said on dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Jackie has always been very vocal about Madhuri being her favourite co-actor. However, refuting these rumours, Madhuri cleared the air in a recent interview. “For where I am today, this (the topic of Dutt)has become redundant. Life has come a long way since then. Aamir Khan and Madhuri have worked together in films such as Deewana Mujh Sa Nahin (1990) and Dil (1990). In fact, the two had a lot of fun on the sets of Dil and Madhuri even spoke about the pranks they played on each other during the shoot of the film. “I have chased Aaamir Khan with a hockey stick on my sets of Dil because he played a prank on me. Earlier, he was very mischievous but today he is more relaxed and wants to do good work. I find he is a lot more committed,” she was quoted as saying.
