Here’s why Sonam Kapoor apologised to Amitabh Bachchan on Twitter

Actor Amitabh Bachchan tweeted that he sent a message to Sonam Kapoor on her birthday but did not get a reply.

Actor Sonam Kapoor celebrated her 32nd birthday on June 9 and amid all the celebration, looks like the actor missed Amitabh Bachchan’s SMS wishing her on her big day.

Actor Amitabh Bachchan tweeted that Sonam Kapoor did not reply to his SMS.

It all started on Monday afternoon when Sonam replied to actor Suniel Shetty’s tweet, in which he had wished her. Amitabh wrote, “ and what about ME .. this is Amitabh Bachchan my dear .. i sent you an sms on your birthday and you never replied ..aaarrrgghh !!

Sonam immediately apologised to Bachchan and said that she did not receive a message from him, but got one from his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan.

“Oh my god sir!! I didn’t get it!! I always reply!! Thank you so much! I got @juniorbachchan message I’m so so sorry,” she tweeted.

Sonam rang in her birthday in Delhi with boyfriend Anand Ahuja. The two posted some adorable snaps and videos from the celebration on Instagram.
