Hina Khan goes deglam for first project after Bigg Boss 11, shares first look

Titled Smartphone, this will be Hina Khan’s first acting project post Bigg Boss 11. Earlier, she has worked in shows like Yeh Rishtaa Kya Kehlata Hai and Khatron Ke Khiladi, among others.

Popular TV star Hina Khan, who unveiled an entire new self to her fans with her recent stint in Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 11. In an Instagram post, Hina has shared the first look from her next project and tagged Kunal Roy Kapur and Akshay Oberoi. Now both Akshay and Kunal work mostly in films, so are they providing the launchpad for Hina in Bollywood?

Sharing a collage of two picture where she is seen in a traditional and glamourous avatars, Hina wrote on Instagram, “Transformation of a butterfly is the story of change and beauty. As an actor we get to add one more phase, Versatility! I created an image by doing a role for 8 years then broke out of the stereotype image I had and tried to look different and versatile.. but my first love will always be acting and here’s another chance Whr m wearing a completely new character to prove my versatility as an actor.., hope you like it. Earlier, she revealed on Twitter that it is a short film. “Thank you.. the shoot is on for my short film.. will try and post a picture today from the set and bhasudi will release in next two weeks..hv a good day,” she tweeted. Bhasudi is a music album where Hina makes an appearance.

Hina, who was a popular household name thanks to her portrayal of Akshara in Yeh Rishta Kyaa Kehlata Hai, emerged as one of the strongest contenders for winning the trophy when she entered the house of the reality show Bigg Boss last year. Her closest competitor was another TV star, Shilpa Shinde, who finally emerged the winner. Both Shilpa and Hina continued to indulge in ugly social media fights, even months after they are done with the show.

Recently, Hina was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award for the Best Entertainer (Television) and she was happy to share the news with her fans.

She also walked the ramp recently and was spotted making many red carpet appearances.
