I’ll give Shahid a slap and things will be fine: Ahmed Khan

Choreographer-­director Ahmed Khan, who was rumoured to be at loggerheads with childhood friend, actor Shahid Kapoor, says that the two are still on back-slapping terms.

Choreographer-­director Ahmed Khan, who was rumoured to be at loggerheads with childhood friend, actor Shahid Kapoor, says that the two are still on back-slapping terms. The reports had surfaced after Khan said he won’t be ­attending Shahid’s wedding. “There is absolutely nothing wrong. Shahid and I have been friends since such a long time ... we grew up together. We tend to not meet for months due to work, but all I need to do is meet him and give him a tight slap and everything will be fine,” says Khan.

Some reports even ­suggested that Khan was not invited to the Shahid and Mira Rajput wedding at all, which took place in Delhi recently. But he denies the rumours, saying, “I was invited, but I couldn’t attend the wedding and reception as I had a lot of work. Plus, my son’s vacations were on and I was busy with that too.”

In fact, Khan insists that he was ­invited to Shahid’s bachelor party too. “They were planning to have his bachelor party in Greece, but I told him that I was no ­longer a bachelor, so I can’t go for it,” says Khan, who recently released his music video featuring actor Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon. He adds that he will meet Shahid and his wife soon. “I have just returned from Istanbul and have been constantly working. But I plan to meet Shahid and Mira soon. We’ll all plan and go out together.”
