“I would love to work with Ranbir Kapoor... I am a big big fan of his.... I would really like to do a film with him,” says the 25-year-old, known for her ­critically-acclaimed performance in her debut film, Ladies vs Ricky Bahl (2011), alongside actor Ranveer Singh.

Apart from Singh, she has so far been seen on screen with Arjun Kapoor in Ishaqzaade (2012), and with Sushant Singh Rajput in Shuddh Desi Romance (2013).

In her upcoming release, Hasee Toh Phasee, she is paired opposite actor Sidharth Malhotra.

Known for her endearing girl-next-door image, ask Parineeti if she’s aware of most guests on filmmaker Karan Johar’s chat show rating her as the most promising actor, compared to her contemporaries, and she replies, “That was so ­flattering. I didn’t even know these senior actors knew of my ­existence!” she says.
