I really enjoy promotions, my co-actors think I’m mad: Priyanka Chopra

For weeks before the release, the process of sitting through multiple rounds of media interviews, touring several cities and making hurried appearances at chaotic public events can get trying at times. But Priyanka Chopra doesn’t mind the madness.

Most Bollywood actors don’t enjoy the promotion stage of their movies.

For weeks before the release, the process of sitting through multiple rounds of media interviews, touring several cities and making hurried appearances at chaotic public events can get trying at times.

But Priyanka Chopra doesn’t mind the madness. As a matter of fact, the actor says she particularly enjoys promotions.

"Some basic questions will be the same… about the film and stuff, but I am more than happy to talk about them," says Priyanka, adding, "I actually really enjoy promotions. Everyone tells me that I am the only cracked person to like them. All my co-actors think I’m mad. But I do enjoy them, because they give me an excuse to talk."

According to her, she barely gets to talk when she’s shooting for films, as all she is required to do is deliver rehearsed lines.

"I like promotions because they give me a chance to express myself. I get to know what people are thinking when journalists ask me questions," she says.

And what is it that she finds out?

"You sort of get to know about the gossip that’s going around. Otherwise I would never know," she says, jokingly.
