Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi’s photos with Anshula at Sonam Kapoor’s mehendi are all about sister love
Guess which is our photo of the day from Sonam Kapoor’s mehendi ceremony? The one shared by Anshula Kapoor with Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor.
Sonam Kapoor’s wedding celebrations are already on and Sunday was all about the mehendi ceremony where only the relatives and close friends were invited. Held at Anil Kapoor’s residence, the Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja mehendi ceremony saw Arjun Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor in attendance. Family’s close friend Karan Johar was seen at the ceremony too.
While the family ensured that we all got a sneak peek at the happy ceremony with photos of the family members flooding the social media, the ones we found really heartening were posted by Anshula Kapoor. Arjun’s sister and Boney Kapoor’s daughter, she shared photos with step-siblings Janhvi and Khushi who are later actor Sridevi’s daughter. Sridevi passed away in Dubai earlier this year due to accidental drowning.
Ever since the actor’s death, Arjun and Anshula have been a source of succor to Boney, Janhvi and Khushi. Anshula especially is spotted often with Janhvi and Khushi and Sonam Kapoor’s mehendi was no exception. She shared the photo with Janhvi, Khushi and Shanaya on Instagram and wrote, “#EverydayPhenomenal#SistersBeforeMisters.”
In another photo she shared we can see Sanjay Kapoor and his son as well. She wrote, “Fam jam #EverydayPhenomenal.”
Shararas seemed to be the choice of Kapoor women at Sonam’s mehendi with Anshula, Shanaya and Khushi going for its various versions.
On February 25, the news of Sridevi’s untimely demise at a Dubai hotel left India shocked. It was later confirmed that it was a case of drowning in the bath tub. The two girls and their father producer Boney Kapoor, despite being distraught, put a brave face through the crisis. The four children of Boney Kapoor have grown close since then and we often see pictures of Sridevi’s two daughters attending dinner and birthday parties with Arjun and his sister. It may be recalled that while Sridevi was alive, relationship between the late actor’s family and Arjun were, at best, cordial.
Janhvi is all set to make her Bollywood debut in Dhadak, Hindi remake of Marathi hit Sairat. She will be seen opposite actor Shahid Kapoor’s kid brother, Ishaan Khatter. The latter made his film debut in well known Iranian auteur Majid Majidi’s Beyond The Clouds. Dhadak is being directed by Shashank Khaitan.
