A source close to the production house reveals, “They were shooting a scene that required Katrina to ride a horse. Midway, she lost balance and almost fell off the horse. It was a critical fall as half her body was off the horse.”

The source adds that by the time the crew reached for help, she had regained her balance. “She climbed back on the horse and finished the shot as planned. It was only later that she realised she had injured her neck and leg,” adds the source. Director Abhishek Kapoor suggested that she take the day off, but since a lot of permissions had been taken for the shoot, Kat insisted on resuming work. Confirming the news, Kapoor says, “Katrina is an amazing professional. I had always heard of how dedicated she was, and I saw that during the shoot.”
