Katrina Kaif to miss her Christmas vacation, Anurag Basu is the reason

The year before that, she had reportedly gone to London, UK, to meet her family. However, this year, Katrina might end up spending Christmas working in Mumbai, as she will be busy shooting for director Anurag Basu’s film Jagga Jasoos.

"She has just finished the second schedule of Anurag’s film, and is currently shooting for Abhishek Kapoor’s next. By December, she will have to resume work on Anurag’s movie," says a source close to the actor. She will be seen opposite Ranbir in Anurag’s sleuth film.

This year, too, for Christmas, Katrina had planned to visit her mother and sisters in London. But going by her date diary, she will not be able to leave the city. “She does not want the film to suffer for her personal reasons, so she will take a call as soon as she finishes shooting for Abhishek’s film," adds the source.

Although the actor remained unavailable for a comment, her spokesperson confirmed the news, saying, "Back-to-back shoots will keep Katrina busy till the end of December. As of now, she doesn’t know whether she will be able to celebrate Christmas with her family this year."
