Katti Batti stutters, opens to a miserable Rs 5.28 crore
Looks like Kangana Ranaut’s magic is waning on the box office. The Queen star’s latest film, Katti Batti, which also stars Imran Khan, opened to a below-average collection of only Rs 5.28 crore on Friday.

Looks like Kangana Ranaut’s magic is waning on the box office. The Queen star’s latest film, Katti Batti, which also stars Imran Khan, opened to a below-average collection of only Rs 5.28 crore on Friday. Panned by critics for its overdose of romance, insipid acting by the lead stars, and predictable twists, it will be very difficult now for the film to recover any part of the Rs 20 crore spent on making it.
Director Nikhil Advani’s last venture, Hero, too, had a slow run at the ticket windows, collecting Rs 30.87 crore over one week.
