“I only understand that there is good film and a bad film. I don’t know what art and commercial films are, but as far as I am concerned, if I am going to spend so much time on a film, then I want to reach as many people as possible. I don’t want to be part of niche films unless it’s damn exciting,” he says.

“It’s important to do commercial films, but they should have the sensibility of independent cinema,” he adds.
