Host-actor Manish Paul was excited about performing action scenes in his next film. But his spirits were dampened when he met with an accident on the sets last month. While shooting for an action sequence, which required him to jump from a height of 15ft, Manish accidentally landed on his right shoulder. The fall caused a muscle tear and needed immediate medical attention. He

had planned to undergo an operation in June, but due to his work commitments, he had to defer the surgery. Now, the actor will get his shoulder operated this week.

A source says, “Manish has been in pain ever since he met with the accident in the first week of June. Since it was a major action scene being filmed at different locations, Manish didn’t want to affect the shooting schedule, and continued to work after popping some painkillers. Although physiotherapy and the medicines gave him some relief, his doctor asked him to get his shoulder fixed for good.” The actor has been advised bed rest for a few days post the surgery.

Manish says, “I have to undergo the surgery for my shoulder. I had to delay the procedure due to my professional commitments, as I am shooting for my film right now. If I had not delayed the surgery, we would have had to hold the film shoot. So, I thought I will first finish my work, and then get the surgery done.”
