Nick Jonas calls Priyanka Chopra a ‘beacon of light’ on Women’s Day, declares his love. See pic

Nick Jonas, wishing his beautiful wife Priyanka Chopra on International Women’s Day, also declared his love for her, all over again.

Priyanka Chopra is a power woman in every sense of the term. She may have moved to the US, but she remains one of the top female actors in Bollywood. No wonder, even her husband Nick Jonas, can’t seem to get enough of her.

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Nick took to Instagram to share a picture of his wife and wishing women across the world, wrote: “Happy #internationalwomensday to all the amazing women out there. This incredible woman is a beacon of light and inspiration to so many all around the world. I love you @priyankachopra.” The singer’s mother Denise Miller-Jonas commented on the post, “You are a blessed man my son.”

 

The picture is from their December wedding in Jodhpur last year. Wearing a bright red gown, with mehendi on her hands, sporting the north Indian bridal chooda (bangles), heavy diamond necklace and maang tika (head gear) with her engagement ring displayed prominently, Priyanka looks resplendent as a bride.

Earlier in the day, Priyanka shared her favourite quotes by a few of the most inspiring women in the world.

 

On a lighter note, appearing on The Late Late Show With James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke, Nick confessed that he was indeed fed up with the many wedding ceremonies and receptions after he tied the knot last year.

However, all that is past and Priyanka seems to have fitted in perfectly well and Nick too adores his wife. However, there was one member of the Jonas family who didn’t initially warn up to Priyanka and that was Nick’s older brother Kevin’s daughter Valentina.

Speaking about it, Kevin had said how his daughter Valentina was reluctant to share Nick with Priyanka when she first met her. When James Corden had asked Kevin if his daughters approved of the new additions to the family, he had said: They definitely do now... but at first it was all rough going. My youngest daughter Valentina, she is very connected to Nick. The day when she met Priyanka, she put her hand around his shoulder, every time her hand would go around Valentina, she would just push it off.”
