No item song for Sonakshi Sinha

"I don’t know how these rumours about me keep floating around. I’m not doing any song in the film. I’ve not even been approached for anything like this,” says actor Sonakshi Sinha. Sonakshi also clears the air about her being a part of Welcome Back.

Actor Sonakshi Sinha, who is currently riding high on the success of her recent release,Lootera,now has a choc-a-bloc schedule. With one major release next month and another two in the coming months, the actor has no time to breathe. And amidst all this were rumours about her doing an item number in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much awaited Ram Leela.

Ask the actor about this and a surprised Sonakshi says, “I don’t know how these rumours about me keep floating around. I’m not doing any song in the film. I’ve not even been approached for anything like this.” Sonakshi also clears the air about her being a part of Welcome Back, sequel to the 2007 hit Welcome. “I was approached for the film and we (she and the makers) even discussed it at length. However, things didn’t work out as there was some issue with the dates. I’m not going to be doing the film.” At this point, the actor is only looking forward to her immediate next release, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara.
