The film revolves around two journalists who chance upon a major news story. Sources say that the film will deal with negative events and controversies that are very similar to what happened during the 2010 Commonwealth Games (CWG) scam.

An insider from the production team reveals, "There are many similarities that can be drawn from the CWG scam and the events in the film. They are evident in the trailer itself, especially the scene where they show a footover bridge collapse.” A similar incident had occurred during the CWG, when a bridge had collapsed near the main venue.

, the film shows the journalists, played by Pulkit Samrat and Bilal Amrohi, in search of a big scam to get their work noticed. They chance upon one such opportunity when they cover the fictional Asian Olympics.

When asked about the comparisons between the real and reel scams, director Umesh Bisht confirms the news, but refrains from divulging any more details. "The entire

film

is inspired by real-life events. However, I would not like to reveal them now," says Umesh.
