The star cast of the film, including Zayed Khan, Randhir Kapoor and Lillete Dubey, is excited about the way the film is shaping up. Directed by Mehul Atha, the film is being shot by cinematographer Azeem Bajaj.

The crew is now looking forward to a two-week shooting schedule in Punjab, which starts in early September. Actor Saahil Shroff will be joining the cast there. Post Punjab, there is a three-week schedule in Europe planned in October. Meanwhile, Ameesha and her partner Kunal Goomer are already working on their next project that will go on the floor after this film.

Desi Magic is scheduled to hit theatres on February 28, 2014.
