Kalki Koechlin feels Bollywood stories need to be more “realistic and inclusive”.

A Special Jury Award went to Kalki at the 63rd National Film Awards for her performance as a young woman afflicted with cerebral palsy in her film Margarita, With A Straw. “I think our stories need to be more realistic and more inclusive,” said Kalki.
Asked if she feels men have better roles in the industry, she added: “I don’t think it’s about men or women having better roles. It’s just that we stereotype men and women in their respective roles.”
