Ranveer Singh apparently took a lot of inspiration from many people.

Ranveer Singh is not a stranger to having people troll his obscure fashion choices. So when it was time to release his first look in Padmavati as Alauddin Khilji, almost everyone was expecting some more comedy gold from Twitter, and it delivered.

His look as Sultan Alauddin Khijli is reported to have leaked on Monday night, prompting Ranveer to officially share it hours before the originally intended time. The actor shared two posters from the film, looking downright fearsome in both.

In one, he can be seen in a bath, his thick hair loose on his shoulders as he menacingly glares into the camera. His chest hair is clearly visible, glistening from the bath water. In the second picture, he is seen looking into a mirror, perhaps having caught a glimpse of Rani Padmavati, as the lore goes. His headgear is adorned with stones of lime green colour and two thick scars can be seen under his left eye.

The villainous look is not easily digestible for many but people have still found ways to come up with jokes. The look, as fierce as it is, still somehow reminded people of cricketer Ishant Sharma, Aquaman Jason Momoa, Scar from Lion King and more. Check them all out and let us know who you think shared the strongest resemblance with Ranveer.

Padmavati is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and also stars Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor. It releases on December 1.
