Prateik Babbar might address students in Punjab about drug abuse

Prateik Babbar recently opened up about his struggle with drugs. Now, the actor has been approached by a college from Punjab University, to give a talk on the same.

Prateik Babbar has been away from the limelight for quite some time now. After making a mark with his performance in Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na (2008), the actor was seen in films such as Dhobi Ghat (2010) and Ek Deewana Tha (2012). However, in recent times, Babbar made headlines for opening up about his problem of substance abuse and recovering from the same.

Now, we hear that the actor has been approached by a college in Punjab, to talk about his turmoil with drugs. “A college from Punjab University will be conducting a seminar on the effects of drug abuse. Since Prateik recently spoke about the same, they thought him to be the apt guest to address the issue,” says a source close to the actor.

When contacted, the actor confirmed the news saying, “Yes, I have been approached for the seminar but nothing has been confirmed yet.”
