R... Rajkumar rules at box office, defies critics' verdict

Yes, Shahid has got his much needed hit and no, the movie critics could not deter the film's box office numbers that stand at approx Rs 29 crore so far.

So what the viewers liked in the film is anybody's guess, but Sari Ka Fall and Gandi Baat seem to have done the trick.

"I agree when others say I am underrated as an actor... When you give super-hit films then only you are considered as a good actor. At least that is how it is there in our industry. I think you need to be successful to be appreciated," Shahid told PTI.

With films like Jakpot, Lucky Kabootar and What the Fish hitting the theatres this Friday, Shahid's R... Rajkumar might continue to earn moolah at the ticket windows.
