Ranbir Kapoor to play superhero for Ayan Mukerji?

Actor Ranbir Kapoor and director Ayan Mukerji reportedly plan to make a superhero film soon. The duo has recently given Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani that has collected over Rs 150 crore since its release in May.

Riding high on the success of their last venture Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji reportedly plan to entertain their fans in a new avatar!

Mumbai Mirror reports that director Ayan Mukerji plans to make a superhero film. Mukerji has also approached Ranbir Kapoor for the lead role. The tabloid quoted a source as saying, "Ranbir trusts Ayan's abilities. He has enjoyed working with the filmmaker so far, and is looking forward to their next outing together. This film will be mounted on a much bigger scale than their earlier projects."

If true, the project will be a novel experience for both the actor and director. It will also bring Kapoor in the same league as Hrithik Roshan and Shah Rukh Khan.
