Ranveer Singh imitates me well: Govinda

While Ranveer Singh's admiration for Govinda is out in the open, his love isn't one-sided. Govinda, too, seems highly impressed with Ranveer and says that he walked out of Ram-Leela because he didn't want to see Singh dying.

While Ranveer Singh's admiration for Govinda is out in the open, his love isn't one-sided. Govinda, too, seems highly impressed with Ranveer. "I love him so much that when I got to know that he will die at the end of Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela (2013), I walked out of the film midway," says Govinda.

The duo will share screen space in Shaad Ali's Kill Dil that hits theatres this Friday (November 14).

The actor has been on a film-signing spree lately. And his fans aren’t the only ones excited by his decision to make a comeback to the Hindi film industry.

Among the younger lot of Bollywood actors are a couple of self-confessed Govinda admirers, like Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan, who are eager to work with the star. The senior actor, obviously, is flattered by the attention he is getting.

Commenting on Ranveer, who is most vocal about his admiration for the actor, Govinda says, "He imitates me really well. He brings up songs and dialogue that I don’t even remember. Recently, Ranveer imitated me while we were shooting with Salman Khan on the sets of his TV show. Unfortunately, that portion was edited."
