Rishi Kapoor will play a special role in Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Manto

While the details are yet to be revealed, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has tweeted that Rishi Kapoor will play a significant role in his upcoming film, Manto, which is being directed by Nandita Das.

After having a bitter relationship with Nawazuddin Siddiqui, actor Rishi Kapoor will be seen sharing screen with him in upcoming movie Manto.

Rishi Kapoor has earlier slammed Nawazuddin Siddiqui for his comments on Bollywood romantic movies and called him an “average actor”.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays the titular role of Sadat Hasan Manto in Nandita Das’s film.

The Manjhi star took to Twitter and shared the news of Rishi joining the cast and thanked him for the same. He wrote, “It was indeed a pleasure sharing the screen with @chintskap Sir. What an amazing energy you possess even now.”

Responding to his tweet, the veteran actor thanked Nawaaz and went on to express his desire to act with him in future as well.

“Thank you Nawaz! Did that bit for Nandita Das and ‘Manto’-title role played by you. We will have fun working together in the future. Regards!,” he wrote.

Nothing has been revealed about Rishi Kapoor’s role in the film, till now.

Few years back, the Kapoor & Sons star slammed Nawaazuddin Siddiqui for his comments on Bollywood romantic movies and called Nawaaz an “average actor”.
