Royal visit, what? Alia was busy taking selfies with Parineeti Chopra

At an event where Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit were in awe of the British royalty, Alia Bhatt had other important things on her mind , like taking selfies with friends!

At the welcome event of the British royal couple, Bollywood A-listers such as Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit looked in complete awe of the guests’ style, but Highway actor Alia Bhatt had other important things on her mind. She was busy taking selfies with her film industry friends.

She struck pose with Parineeti Chopra and Sonam Kapoor when everyone else focused on getting clicked with Kate and William.

In Parineeti’s words, the actors were just ‘goofing around’. The Kill Dil actor tweeted , “Meeting royalty but goofing around ;) @aliaa08 #RoyalVisitIndia”

The royal couple met and greeted the who’s who of Bollywood, including actor Rishi Kapoor, his wife Neetu, actress Madhuri Dixit, her husband, actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, filmmaker Karan Johar, actor Anil Kapoor and choreographer Shiamak Davar.

Later, they went to different tables and interacted with other celebrities, including Parineeti Chopra, Shilpa Shetty, her husband Raj Kundra, Arjun Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, music composer Shankar Mahadevan, actress Aditi Rao Hydari, politician Priya Dutt, actress Huma Qureshi, designer Manish Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez.
