Bollywood actor Salman Khan owes water tax of nearly Rs 6,000 to Indore Municipal Corporation.

Though Khan does not stay in Indore, his relatives live at 4/2, Old Palasia, which is in the actor's name. The corporation officials have served the notice in Khan's name to his relatives and have asked them to deposit the amount at the earliest or face action. The notice mentions the name of Salman, son of Salim Khan.
The IMC website shows that Salman actually had to pay Rs 23,929.50 as water tax, but under an IMC tax waiver scheme, Rs 17,274 had been frozen. So, Salman had to pay Rs 5,990. However, when the IMC did not receive any payment of the due amount they served notice in Khan’s name.
