More than 15 days ago, Shahid started shooting for two songs in the Prabhudheva-directed film. Later on, he immediately left for an awards function in Macau. “There, he hosted the event, and performed a little jig with Sridevi as well. And when he came back, he attended the Lootera success party where he danced with Ranveer (Singh) and Sonakshi (Sinha),” says an insider. But that wasn’t the end of Shahid’s dancing spell.

A few days ago, he hosted an impromptu party at his Versova residence where he shook a leg with other guests including Sonakshi and Prabhudheva. “The next day, he started rehearsals for a song in Phata Poster Nikhla Hero. A couple of days later, he reported on the sets of the Rajkumar Santoshi film where he shot for an elaborate dance sequence with Nargis Fakhri, who is doing a special appearance in an item song,” adds the insider.

While Shahid couldn’t be reached for a comment, a source close to him says, “It’s a co-incidence that he has danced so much in the past 15 days or so. And he is completely aware of it and was discussing it with his friends a few days back.”
