Sonu Sood ‘shattered’ after father’s sudden death

Sonu rushed his father to the hospital where he was declared brought dead. The actor lost his mother a few years ago.

Actor Sonu Sood’s father, Shakti Sagar Sood, died on Sunday at their home in Moga, Punjab. He was 77.

According to Indian Express, the actor’s father was suffering from respiratory problems and had a cardiac arrest on Sunday. Sonu, who was in Punjab to participate in the Celebrity Cricket league (CCL) was present at home when his father suddenly took ill and collapsed.

Sonu rushed his father to the hospital where he was declared brought dead. The actor lost his mother a few years ago. The actor’s family, wife and two sons, have left for Moga for the funeral.

“I am shattered. I have nothing to say right now,” Indian Express quoted the actor as saying.
