Sunil Grover, who is already a part of Salman Khan’s Bharat, has posted a funny video on Twitter in which he is applying for the role of the female lead in the film. Dressed as a saree-clad woman, Sunil says in the video that he is aware of the director Ali Abbas Zafar’s quest to find a heroine for the film after Priyanka Chopra left the project.

Sunil tweeted the video and wrote, “Application for the vacancy from Nancy.” Ali has also sportingly replied to the video. He said, “Hahahahaha ..... you are mad @WhoSunilGrover ... be like this always ...love.”

Earlier, Priyanka left the film citing some personal reason. Later, it was revealed that she has started shooting for Shonali Bose’s The Sky Is Pink with Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim. Priyanka is playing a mother in the film.

Ali tweeted and confirmed that Priyanka has indeed left the project. He said, “Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of @Bharat_TheFilm & and the reason is very very special , she told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her ... Team Bharat wishes @priyankachopra loads of love & happiness for life.”

Reports suggest that Bharat’s lead star, Salman Khan is now in hyperdrive to find Priyanka’s replacement for the film and that Katrina Kaif and Jacqueline Fernandez seem to be the most likely choices. Katrina has previously worked with Salman in Tiger Zinda Hai, Ek Tha Tiger, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kia, while Jacqueline has worked with him in Kick and Race 3.
