Taking one for the team

Ganesh Acharya who has choreographed hits like title track of Dabangg, Zor ka jhatka from Action Replayy and title track of Golmaal 3 will not have his name credited as a choreographer for his directorial film Angel.

A source close to the film says that the director has helped the choreographers and has even written a few lines for a song, but has not taken credit for it. He believes it’s a team effort and as a director he cannot succeed till he has everybody’s support with him. He believes the credit should go to his choreographers Sanjeev and Rahul and lyricist Shabbir Ahmed for all the hard work they have put in. As the captain of the ship he has just helped them and should not take the credit away from them.

His move was an unusual one in an industry where people are snatching away credit from each other, forget helping anybody to make a career in the big bad world.
