Actors Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha are close to wrapping up the shoot of Shirish Kunder’s Joker. The last sequence, however, involves filming a scene at a crop circle that has apparently been created by an Unidentified Flying Object (UFO).

And Kunder, who has done extensive theoretical research on the phenomena, is now heading to the United States and United Kingdom to see the spots for himself.

“I will be visiting four crop circle sights in America and the United Kingdom, as our film is based on the inexplicable occurrence. A sequence that will be shot at one such Unidentified Flying Object landing spot. I am going to do recce for that,” says Kunder, before he departed for the United Kingdom.

Co-produced by UTV Motion Pictures, Hari Om Production and Three’s Company, Joker is a fantasy-adventure film that is expected to release in 3D next year.

Kunder reveals that some Unidentified Flying Objects(UFO) have reportedly been spotted in India too.

“But a crop circle has never been made here. Though there were some reports of Unidentified Flying Objects(UFO) being spotted. However, there are some crop circles that have occurred in Wilshire, South of England. There are also apparently some proper UFO landing sights there. Every year, two or three UFOs are spotted. One was found in Mexico, another in Indonesia and some have been located in South America this year,” says Kunder.

However, these places have been cordoned off and outsiders are not allowed to visit them.

“We have tried pulling some strings to get as close as possible, so we could get an idea of the actual thing,” says Kunder adding, “But we are not going to shoot there. I am going to see how it looks to get a precise idea so that we can create it here in Punjab. It requires flat land and vast fields, so Punjab is the best place.”

What’s a crop circle?
A crop circle is a massive pattern created on a field and is best visible, when seen from really high above. Of the many conspiracy theories connected with the occurences, one claims that the designs were made by Unidentified Flying Object landings and had alien connections.
