Our favourite stars—Varun Dhawan, Dia Mirza, Jacqueline Fernandez, Salman Khan among others—were out in full force, promoting their films, championing causes or going about their daily routine.

World Environment Day, which was celebrated on Tuesday, saw Bollywood celebrities like Dia Mirza and Varun Dhawan throw their weight behind some noble causes. Taking his social responsibility with earnestness was Varun who made his presence felt at an environmental preservation event in Mumbai. Called Save The Beach, he joined Mumbaikars for a Juhu beach clean-up drive. Sporting a comfortable peach T-shirt and a pair of Bermudas, Varun made summer look cool.

Dia Mirza, who is also the UN Environment Goodwill Ambassador for India, did a photoshoot to discourage people from using plastic water bottles, single-use plastic and also discouraged using plastic entirely. In the pictures, she is dressed in beautiful cream-coloured outfit with black polka dots. What’s noticeable is the metallic water bottle she is carrying.

Actors Jacqueline Fernandez and Daisy Shah, who are busy promoting their new film Race 3, too were spotted doing their bit to save the environment. The duo participated in, what looked like, plant-a-tree campaign. In the pictures, they can be seen adding potting mix to a sapling.

Other members of Race 3 team—Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol—too were out promoting their upcoming flick at Mehboob Studio. They were there for interviews.

Love birds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, meanwhile, were spotted at Mehboob Studio in Bandra, who were there for work on their new film, Brahmastra. What’s more is that they arrived together in the same vehicle. Amitabh Bachchan was also seen at the famous studio for a shoot.

Also, the nation’s new favourite girl, Janhvi Kapoor was seen leaving Manish Malhotra’s residence in Bandra.

Glamour girls—Kareena Kapoor Khan and Malaika Arora—were snapped at the gym, again in Bandra. The two lovely ladies were seriously competing with each other both in the looks and fitness departments. Kareena was dressed in gym gear, sporting a pair of black quarter leggings with a flirty sports bra and a jacket to boot. Malaika, meanwhile, wore a pair of grey-black shorts with a figure lugging T-shirt.
