“This is the first time I’m doing an action film. In fact I was always excited for this genre. And now since I’m going to perform action sequences in the movie, I’m very thrilled to go to London and learn the techniques,” says Das.

Vir has earlier been part of light genre films such as Namastey London (2007), Delhi Belly (2011), Shaadi Ke Side Effects (2014) and Santa Banta (2016).

The film will directed by Harish Raut and Das will feature in the lead role. The actor, who was last seen in the film 31 October (2016), will be training for 30 days and will undergo an extensive diet plan to prepare his body.

“The training will be in an academy but not under any particular trainer. We will have a team, which will work on my stunts, and prepare me for the role. I’ll undergo three weeks of training followed by a well planned diet chart,” he says.
