Watch: Shahid Kapoor turns ‘desi’ rockstar for Udta Punjab
Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, the film also stars Kareena Kapoor Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Prabhjyot Singh and Diljit Dosanjh.
Shahid Kapoor today unveiled the first look of his much-awaited film Udta Punjab, where the superstar will be sporting long locks, toned abs and beard.
The Kaminey star took to Twitter to introduce his Punjabi rockstar character Tommy Singh in the film, based on the substance abuse in Punjab.

“Milna Hain Tommy Singh se? #UdtaShahid #UdtaPunjab,” Shahid posted on Twitter along with a picture.
A rugged Shahid flaunts his long, curly locks in the 17-second-long video. Rockstar Tommy Singh (Shahid) is introduced with much fanfare and people are already drooling over the 35-year-old actor’s looks as the rockstar!
Kareena Kapoor, Diljit Dosanjh, Prabhjyot Singh and Alia Bhatt will also be seen in the movie directed by Abhishek Chaubey. Diljit makes his Bollywood debut with Udta Punjab.
