When Kajol saved Shah Rukh Khan from a certain death
Working with a filmmaker like Rohit Shetty can be risky, more so, if the film banks on recreating the magic of the Shah Rukh Khan-Kajol duo from Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge.
Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol were always Bollywood’s sizzle couple. But now, Shah Rukh owes Kajol big time and nothing less than his life!

Bollywood’s badshah and his favourite leading lady were shooting for Rohit Shetty Dilwale when this ‘life threatening’ incident occurred.
When Rohit decided to take the crew to a waterfall in Iceland, SRK slipped and almost lost his life had it not been for Kajol, the 41-year-old actor reveals in the video.
As Shah Rukh Khan says in the new video ‘Making of Gerua’, “Desh ke sabse bade director Rohit Shetty. Inki sabsi badi khasiyat hai ki ye duniya ki sabse mushkil jagaho pe jake gadiyan udate hain. (The country’s biggest director is Rohit Shetty. His specialty is that he goes to the most dangerous locations in the world and blows up cars).”

In the 7.21-minute-long video, Shah Rukh tells Kajol, “I owe you my life, Meri ye zindagi ab tumhare naam ho chuki hai (My life is now yours).”
Talking about the broken plane in the song Gerua, the lead actors say, “Rohit did not break it. Legend has it that the pilot crash landed there and saved everybody!”

Shooting in the middle of snow is not easy, as the actors discovered during the shoot. Kajol reveals in the latest video that their lips were not moving due to the cold. “If you see carefully, our lips are blue and there’s no lip-sync,” she quips.
