Won't do intimate scenes for the sake of it: Swastika Mukherjee

While her acting prowess has garnered critical appreciation, her intimate scenes in multiple films have also been talked about. And while her Bollywood venture alongside Sushant Singh Rajput also saw her in one such scene, the actor reveals that she is very particular about doing such roles.

She says that many filmmakers approach her to star in films that require her to perform intimate scenes. "There are about 250 scripts lying at home in Kolkata, but I am not going to do them. Some of them require me to perform intimate scenes, but I don’t see their significance in those films. So I do not accept them," says the actor.

In fact, she says that she agrees to do such scenes only if she believes that the director can pull them off. "Before accepting any such roles, I check who the director is. It all depends on how aesthetically he or she can film the moment. One should not regret being part of such a film after giving their nod," adds Swastika.
