Ranbir even defended Deepika when a few inquisitive journalists asked questions about her tattoo.
Apparently, after the event ended, a moist-eyed Deepika even went backstage and thanked Ranbir for standing up for her.
The on-stage camaraderie at the event fuelled speculation among mediapersons about their single statuses.
