Previous instalments, Rosie Revere, Engineer and Iggy Peck, Architect, were New York Times bestsellers.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Double Down
Author: Jeff Kinney
Ages: 8-12 years
Release date: November 1, 2016
Voted by Time Magazine in 2009 as one of the most influential people in the world, Jeff Kinney is about to release his eleventh book in the popular Diary of a Wimpy Kid book series.
To date, eight of the books in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid have reached number 1 on USA Today’s best-selling books list, including last year’s Old School.
In the upcoming Double Down, Kinney’s protagonist Greg Heffley discovers an old video camera and imagines himself an amateur movie director.
As with the previous books in the series, Double Down is presented in the form of a journal, complete with ‘Greg’s’ hand-written notes and drawings.
