In an announcement on LinkedIn, Nadella mentioned that his new book, Hit Refresh, tells the inside story of the company’s continuing transformation. It traces his personal journey and concludes with his vision for the coming wave of intelligent technologies.

In the post, Nadella also elaborates on his experience of writing his first book and the thought that went behind the process. The book goes on sale globally on September 26, 2017, and is available for pre-order. Nadella will donate all the proceeds from Hit Refresh to Microsoft Philanthropies.
