War of the cousins

Parineeti Chopra’s comedy Daawat-e-Ishqreleases with Priyanka Chopra’sMary Kombased on the champion boxer. The buzz is that one of the cousins may persuade her producer to shift the release date to avoid an impending clash.

Highway to Horror

A road movie,Finding Fanny, with Naseerudin Shah, Dimple Kapadia and Deepika Padukone takes on Vikram Bhatt’s Creature 3D, a monster thriller sci-fi flick starring Bipasha Basu.

September 19:
Beauty v/s the beast

In Khoobsurat, Sonam Kapur reprises the role Rekha played in the 1980 original. Interestingly, and this can make for so many jokes that weekend, Anurag Kashyap’s psychological thriller Ugly releases on the same day.

October 2:
Gunning for profits

Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif play trigger-happy assassins in Bang Bang. But we’re more excited about Vishal Bharadwaj’s Hamlet adaptation, Haider.
